I can see where you’re coming from. Not only is the feed on FA filled with garbage, but it is opportunist, mercantile, garbage. Let’s face it: Art Station and FA fulfilll two very different purposes. The former is where you go to look at art from aspiring artists trying to break into the industry, and FA is where you go for…special interests. That doesn’t make one superior to the other, but it does mean that when one’s special interests are hyperinflated diaperfurs, or protogen, the quality of the art becames secondary as a priority. And I believe that’s why so many furry artist on FA simply don’t try that hard to refine their craft. Why waste the effort when your next derivative goo transformation picture already gets you so much attention?

It truly is a pit of disappointment

Yup. I feel that way about much of humanity, already, though. All you can do is try to lead by example. It also helps to be in a microcommunity of artists who all care about quality. I find that some furry communities seem to care more about quality than others.

The main reason why I don't share a lot of music on FA anymore. I really don't want any projects to be connected to the constant sexual deviancy of the site and community. It's a rarity to find non fetishized trash and something of actual artistic value anymore. You can't escape it even with a SFW button

Yeah ive noticed that too, even with the so called safe for work filter on theres still a consistent effort to "push the envelope" as much as possible.
