Two recommendations:

1: DO NOT BUY HALO 3: ODST UNTIL IT'S PRICE HAS GONE DOWN TO NO HIGHER THAN $40. It's not worth full price.

2: Get BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger.

The 360's analog stick works with the game just fine. It, in fact, uses BOTH analog sticks.

The 360's D-pad sucks anyway. It's 100 times more sensitive than it should be.
