Might be doing art full time + updates

Well! Do to some unfortunate circumstances around provincial covid policies and my day job likely about to become pretty unsafe, its looking like I might be falling into doing art full-time! A bit scary for me since I don't feel quite ready for such a jump, but a little bit exciting none-the-less.
A few things will be coming with that change:
1. I'm currently setting up a patreon! I don't know if that is something many of you will be interested in, but I'm brainstorming rewards to offer, such as:
- guarenteed monthly commission slots (mostly for smaller items such as doodle scenes or simple scenes)
- private art streams of these monthly commissions, potentially with sketch requests if the above are finished early
- behind the scenes like sketches and alternate versions of art
- highest res art access
What kinds of things would you like to see as a reward?
2. I will be scheduling regular weekly public art streams where I will be taking spur of the moment commissions such as headshots, doodle scenes, telegram stickers and sketches! I would be working on regular commissions where those are not applicable, so streams would happen either way.
3. Hopefully I'll be putting out more regular content other than commissions but that is less of a guarentee and more of a hope, we will see what happens as I settle into my new schedule!
As always thank you for your continued support, I feel incredibly fortunate that this is even an option for me, I'm proud to be part of such a wonderful community and look forward to posting more art that you can enjoy. <3

yeah, i had a little bit of a taste of that doing this part time, but im hoping itll be a little bit easier if the schedule is all my own rather than splitting it with my dayjob!

Other than than, private art streams are insteresting. I'm not sure about Patreon only commission slots.
I forsee you will have to test things out and see what works for you and what doesn't.
This is indeed a frightfull leap you are taking, and I hope it will work out!
early art access is also a good idea though, i may try that!
itd be less patreon only and more of just a fast track, since my commission queue is usually about 2 months having the monthly patreon slots would ensure whoever wants to go with that would get their art a little faster
that seems to be the case but thats ok! i sorta thought that id have to test things out too XD

The early access usually don't hurt anyone, so yeah, you are safe to try it. It will create an incentive for the impatient to jump aboard.
I'm still not fully convinced from the 'Pateron only slots', but if done right, it could be another thing for the impatient, that don't want to wait 2 months for their art.
Just make sure it doesn't get in the way of the normal commissionners too much. I.E: keep that system in check.
The ratio between "pateron slots" and the others has to remain low.
