Small Temtem rant
I got into a conversation on Discord over that one dumb MMO called Temtem, and I was reminded that anyone who still plays is playing because of the sunk cost fallacy - ie, "I've spent so much time and money on this game now, I need to continue!"
Glad I uninstalled that game. It really was made only to capitalize on the Pokemon Gen 8 hate boner...and yet Crema (the Temtem devs) can't balance the game worth a crap! The fact that the ever-popular Platypet was originally a fake Pokemon and then was snapped up by a shill to use in the game is mind-blowing to me, honestly.

FA+

I never got past the second island, since I normally love shiny breeding in Pokemon, but this was a new low for mongame creators. "Hey, let's make it so you can't infinitely breed the monster's you have! It'd wreck the MMO part!" Not that the game really plays like an MMO - sure, there's other people you can see, but that doesn't make it an MMO.
I'm not gonna knock you for playing and liking the game, I'm just gonna leave all this info here since Temtem felt like the worst game of 2020 for me. I really do think Crema was trying to capitalize on the hate boner for Pokemon Sword and Shield, and they failed miserably, but I still got suckered into at least trying it...and now I can't get a refund.
I'm really hoping that Palworld succeeds where it failed, since it seems to be focusing a lot more on the morals and interesting aspects of a world with creatures; instead of just copy/pasting Pokemon.
