BIG NEWS! UberQuest V2 Kickstarter Updates!

This announcement was a very long time coming. I'm very excited to finally be able to announce it!
In short, Rewards for ALL backers for UberQuest V2 (as well as V1) WILL be fulfilled, thanks to the teaming up with
dreamkeepers . Vivid has a new system of delivering crowd-funding rewards that will be used to produce the final round of merchandise and fulfill the rest of the orders.
As many of you may or may not know, we had made a couple of Kickstarters in the past in regards to our webcomic UberQuest. Volume II was launched in 2017, with a delivery date in 2018. About half of the campaign was fulfilled to backers - but we've run into various issues along the way. For the sake of transparency and moving forward, we will be open about our challenges and means to resolve this issue. This is because we greatly value all our supporters and readers, those who have given their hard-earned money to help support us through the years. It may be late, but we had always had every intention of fulfilling these promises.
In short, we had not done sufficient research into the additional costs that some of the merchandise had. Having run our budget dry and over-promising merchandise we could not afford. This was a terrible oversight and financial mismanagement on our part. There was barely anything left over to cover the cost of shipping, which is crowd-funding usually takes up a large portion of your estimated budget. That meant paying shipping almost entirely out of our own pockets. 2019 was difficult as we found ourselves in debt, then of course in 2020 we had begun to get things back on track. However, COVID happened, and as I am sure many of you know, that made it quite difficult to do much of anything as well as being a difficult financial time for almost everyone.
It is only until now we are able to have the means and help to complete the campaign. This is why, unfortunately, we had to delay doing this back in 2021.
That being said, the vast majority of merchandise was produced with only a few minor rewards not yet produced, such as the lapel pins and dakimakuras. Everything at the moment is safely in storage. We will begin this revitalization campaign to fulfill all rewards and get shipments out to every single backer - which hopefully will be completed sometime this summer if not then by the end of this year.
If you are a backer and have changed addresses, stay tuned for more information on how to contact us. We will be making several announcements as we work through the campaign.
