Can you favourite someone's art too much?

I realize that I have a habit of checking an artist's gallery I like and adding a lot of their works at once to my favourites, even old art sometimes. I personally like to call that a "Fav Wave". It's kind of my way of expressing what I like about an artist's work. But I thought I'd just ask, how do artists feel about this practice in general?
