war in Ukraine: update

I'm still in Ukraine. My sister and I have applied for a visa to the UK and are awaiting review. And while we wait, the war continues. Today, sirens were howling all day, we sat in the basement for half the day and heard explosions somewhere nearby. I feel very exhausted, I dream of sleeping without fear of waking up because of the fear of the sirens. Some of my friends have already evacuated, some remain in the country - and I'm worry for everyone, because now, in any case, it's not clear how to live on.
My sister and I continue to raise money so that we can safely leave and continue our lives - I really want to have a future to help my family who remains in Ukraine. I don’t know yet what exactly I will do next, because all my plans for life have collapsed, and I don’t think that I can continue to live on commission money.
I didn't have time to enter the university I wanted to - and now I do not know if I will ever be able to. And I don’t know if I can get a job in some studio to draw without work experience, ahem...
However, I continue to draw.

I hope you and your sister get the permit for moving to the UK as soon as possible, and that all of your friends and family will be safe as well! Both your galleries are spectacularly beautiful, and I hope that would be enough to quickly secure you a decent and reliable job where you're headed.
Most of all, I wish for this mad war to be over, for all the people who started it to receive their judgment, and for you to be able to return to a peaceful Ukraine. There would have to be so much repairing and rebuilding done already, and they aren't even done destroying things... It is a living nightmare. But it will be over one day.
I keep hoping that this will be the case.
