Art Comments
To put it simply, comments are the #1 thing I look at for my posts and is something I most appreciate. Don't really pay much attention to favs, retweets (on twitter), or other numbers as much as someone setting some time aside to say something.
That said, there are certain kinds of comments I'm going tired of.
Lately a large part of what I've been doing is "curating" what kind of stuff I post and where, because I know it's a fruitless endeavor to repeat the same "don't do that" to every new person that finds my art, but sometimes people are persistent or say stuff so egregious that I just can't deal with and I'm at the point of blocking people.
Note: If you're someone that's immediately going to question, "Wait, am I a problem" no, you aren't, you never are, because anyone that is that self aware to ask that question is usually self aware and cognizant enough to not transgress in the way that bothers people.
For what is to be noted as generally my unacceptable comments, I'm thinking stuff like:
-overly horny or overly fetishy comments on stuff that does not meet that same energy. Like if a character is just sitting and having a cup of tea, now's not the time to talk about how they'd look great with a giant cock.
-Making roleplay or turning subjects into yourself as the center of attention (well I'm bigger; but what if I was charge; they would look better on the bottom of my paw; etc)
-Comments bringing attention to stuff I do and don't draw or I should draw
REGARDING VORE: Imma say this one last time since I've said it over socials and will say it here and in this format I can be full, open and complete. Do not ask me about vore. Do not talk to me about vore. I don't like the vore community and a lot of their interests. I have vore banned from my commissions and I'll never open them for the public. I don't care if I did them 10 years ago on some alternative account. I don't care if you think my art style or characters would look good for it. It's not happening.
I do sometimes draw some for myself or friends because I've some specific interests among others, but I would never be posting them, and I try to instruct them not to post what they get. That is not attention I want cause it's not related to anything I will be posting or open to the public about.
Short and simple: I don't want to talk about it, don't want to hear about it, don't bring it to my attention, and don't ask about it
P.S.- If you think you're gonna be "FUNNYYY" and post sarcastic remarks on my stuff that's playing exactly like the stuff that makes me upset, I won't care and will still block.

I think the blocking is a good thing, you should block the people who leave comments like that, I would too. I've blocked people for telling me things I should and shouldn't draw, and for the creepy gross comments.
Hopefully this will help stop those comments being left on your lovely work! <3
Won't help with people coming in to your kink art straight from a search but at least there would be an eye dart on your front page that will state your opinion on the matter.
Something like...
and
And if they still post "uwu i like to imagine her pushing a cart filled to the brim with wonderbread" that's purely on them.
However, as this is the internet, there is not a single way to completely avoid unwanted comments. I think the best way to counter is to appraise positive comments.
Hehe sorry if I sounded too "formal" hehe, just wanted to let you know I enjoy your art a lot and I support you as a fellow artist. Would be awesome if we could collab any time.
Hopefully people stop being a hassle.
