Less Activity on Furaffinity
I need to be honest now, just to get this off my chest. I feel like my FA page isn't growing as much as I expected, since obviously my artwork is clearly outclassed by the majority of other people's works that are here. So, I might want to lessen my activity here just to give myself time to improve my own artwork. I will still post my commissioned and requested works here as I promised in the previous months, but then that's it. Commissions and requests will then be closed off on FA specifically soon after. My art trades and gifts will still be open for my friends, though I will not post them here until I want to. I will be gone from here for some time until I'm ready again. I will now focus on DA and inkbunny as both of my main galleries starting at this point, and all commissions and requests will remain open there. Take care, guys and shoot for the stars.
Either way though, I do hope the best for you.
Art competition-- I disagree.
You were one of my favorite kemonobito styled artists. That means that you have a specific market, and it means that the only competition there is Western manga versus Eastern manwa(or at least that's how I see it). If you were on Pixiv, I'd probably see your works even more often, but you've paid more attention to Deviantart. I love Thai, Korean, and Chinese influenced styles of kemonobito. The original Kemonobito style is hard to find.
So , yes I can understand how more artists means more kemonobito artists, with a similar expansion of Western artists, all fighting for visibility. But I don't think Inkbunny or Weasyl are the answer to your specific complaint. I think you should check out Pixiv and Project Booru much more.
Good luck and God bless!
