Commissions: good news and bad news
Hi folks! So, the good news is, I'm finally just about done my previous commission queue and ready to open a new one!
My next in-progress/ wait list will open Monday, April 4th, a little over a week from now.
As always, you're welcome to email me for a quote in the meantime, but bear in mind I cannot guarantee you a slot in the queue as that wouldn't be fair to everyone else.
The bad news is, I've had to up my prices a little bit :( I just did my 2021 taxes and was dismayed to realize that I only made $12,000 last year x_x I've been really bummed out about it, to be honest. If Badger hadn't been paying 100% of our rent all year, I don't know what I would have done. So, I've updated my 2019 price chart and increased my prices by about 20% across the board. I hate having to do this guys, but a weasel's gotta eat! >_<
Commission info re-cap:
Email me on or after Monday, April 4th to apply for a commission slot. Slots are given somewhat on a first-come, first-served basis, but also based on what I feel like taking on and making a balanced variety.
My price chart is here.
ToS is here.
Commission applications must be sent in by email.
My email address is ermineart (at) gmail -dot- com.
In your application email, please make sure you include:
- your name and FA username if you have one
- a description of what you'd like to commission
- a description or ref pic(s) for each character involved (if you're including a friend's character, make sure you have their permission or know them well enough to confidently surprise them ;P)
You can keep the descriptions brief for the initial application if you like, just be aware that I won't be able to give you an exact quote until I get the rest of the details.
Remaining in-progress commissions:
Saripoo (ref sheet) - flat colors complete, fully paid
Scott (2-char 2-page TF) - sketched, fully paid
Rufus (2-page comic) - sketch in progress, half paid
Gasaraki2007 (3-char commission) - sketched, half paid

This said, can't wait for you to post my commission, I'm really happy with it! ♥
Your work is definitely worth it!
Everything is going up in price and your art is worth the increase in price as well.
Hon, looking at your prices, I'd say you are charging the low end of what your level of detail and skill tends to go for.
I'd bump it up a little more, frankly.
Your work is worth it.
I'm currently too poor to commission anyone, or I'd hit you up for one.
-Badger-
so of course your prices are going up, EVERYONE's Prices Are Going Up.
don't blame you
You are a good artist and you are doing this for a living. So at least the minimum annual income of your country has to be matched. Considering your qualtiy quite more.
That price reverence is old but it shows the region where professionals and fans are.
