I have to agree here. A joke is a joke, but you just don't do that kind of thing, when it comes to the medical condition of the wife of someone who's sitting right there. Perhaps as a generalization, but not directed the way it was. They were pretty much both wrong for their actions. What's done is done, so time to get on with life.

Chris Rock is a comedian, people already know his jokes and sence of humor, its like being shocked Howard Stern said a racist joke. The point is how you take a joke, you can either cry and throw a fit and play victim while people make fun of you or you take it in stride and if you can fire a few jokes back.

Alopecia is a crippling disease with no cure and it can lead to other, more serious medical conditions, including but not limited too, cancers and other skin issues. He literally looked right at Jada when he made his comment. Will has shown more maturity than Chris has.

I think you're getting ahead of yourself. Chris did touch on it and it's undetermined whether he knew of Jada's alopecia or not, but it's claimed Will was still mad at him for a joke he told about her at the 2016 Oscars.

Hair loss is only crippling to women IF you believe that Hair is the main thing that makes a woman a woman. If you support Trans/multiple genders under the guise of "but it's all just social constructs!" then you need to realize that a woman ISN'T a woman with no hair is just a societal construct that can be ignored. So to say that she is "disabled" due to her condition is pretty much a stupid idea.

I mean, heck the joke was POSITIVE.. saying "i expect and wait with baited breath for you to continue your acting career DESPITE your condition." by wording it as "I can't wait to see G.I. Jane 2!" as G.I. Jane had.. a bald woman in it which shows that women can be bald and in a movie.

Let's not forget that they had a lead actress go bald (head was shaved) in V for Vendetta too. There was the gal who had a buzz cut in the latest Mad Max movie and she rocked it. So we've already got evidence that women can rock short or no hair cuts (more so if their head structure makes it look good. Case and point, Jada bald looks good, Me? if I go bald it looks horrible (partially due to some scars due to 1 poor decision and an asshole brother pulling me down from a top bunk bed onto the corner of his dresser)

IF it really bothers you wear a wig. Keep tabs on it to avoid cancer and treat it or any other skin condition quickly. Don't be a weakling and say "i am bald! i can't do anything!"
