Flight cancelled. They want to rebook me to a much later flight with a 5 hour layover, arriving at my destination TOMORROW FUCKING MORNING. AFTER THE BURIAL CEREMONY FOR MY UNCLE HAD ALREADY BEGUN.
My fury is incandescent. I am returning home. I will not be there for my uncle's last goodbyes. I will not be there for his family. I will not be there for my mother as she says goodbye to her younger brother for the last time.
This is unforgivable. Alaska airlines, fuck you. Pay your pilots.
