I need to vent really shortly about a boss at my work, sorry lol.
This boss is in charge of the nurses in our retirement home. He's responsible for everything medical care-related. And this dumbfuck is too stupid to do his job, sorry.
We get a new old cute man living in our home. The boss speaks to his exwife about medical care. And then he proceeds to just withhold those infos from us, the administration office, and even gives us FALSE INFORMATION because he just doesnt care.
Yet HE was the one today to give me a mean talk because he said "you can get his health insurance card from upstairs" and I asked ANOTHER collegue to get it for me BECAUSE I WAS FINALLY TALKING TO THE EXWIFE MYSELF AND GOT CRITICAL INFORMATION THAT IVE BEEN WAITING FOR. I was like 'ok' when he got angry at me and he literally said 'no, its not okay. It's only okay if you do as I say'. This was in an early team meeting so many of my collegues heard it. And 3 people of that small group came to me afterwards, also being super confused and mad about how he treated me.
The worst is that in that moment, I didnt think about the fact that I was literally talking to the exwife and just walking away wouldve been rude. So I couldnt even say "I didnt do it because I talked to the exwife" in that moment. UGH BUT I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO. Now I am mad about myself lol, but even more about this useless boss, who did stupid things SEVERAL TIMES now.

I just hope that it won't cause you any problems and that you'll feel better. You are definitely doing an amazing job and that asshole should appreciate it!
I have a boss like that at work as well, he's my ex boss and just last monday he yelled at me to "do [my] f-ing job" and "do as [I was] told" by him, despite him not being my boss anymore. He's incompetent and doesn't care about his own shortcomings as long as he has someone else to yell at and make responsible for his own shortcomings.
Also:
Spreading out work, helping each other out, when there's multiple "pressing matters" at hand... isn't that efficiency and not disobedience? What's their deal?
You found a way to a) get the information you need to do your job AND b) get the task done he asked you, by asking for help.

People like this shouldn’t have a job really, it’s disgusting how much I hear about these sort of people. I do hope he gets fired though, maybe you should try gathering evidence against him and get him fired that way. Though you’d have to be careful about how you go about it.
I'm pretty new at this job, so... I don't think I can do anything. But I know that a few coworkers already filed in some complaints overall...
so nen boss hatte ich vorher. alles schleifen lassen, kunden nicht zurückrufen (nachdem die sich mal gelemdet haben, aber rasen mähen oder jemanden zuquasseln ist wichtiger), teile nicht bestellen, altteile nicht zurückschicken, rechnungen nicht schreiben, fahrzeuge nicht fertig machen, usw.
aber schuld ist immer jemand anderes.
und dann angepisst sein wenn er bis tief in die nacht ackern muß, um das zu tun was er tagsüber hat liegen lassen. andere werkstattbetreiber haben auch probleme, aber 1800 ist feierabend, udn alles erledigt. es geht also doch...
und dann wird man noch gemobbt. teils für sachen für die ich wirklich nichts konnte...
Aber ja, so ein Typ ist das. Wir kriegen falsche Informationen, andere gibt er uns einfach nicht weiter, und dann hallo? Wird der wütend, weil ich mir ne Gesundheitskarte hab bringen lassen, anstatt dass ich sie mir selbst hole? Dafuq?
klingt nach einem unfähigling der seine eigenen unzulänglichkeiten mit eingebildeten fehlern anderer leute kaschiert. hoffentlich werdet ihr ihn schnell los, bevor jemand ernsthaft drunter leiden muss.

Ich hoffe du bekommst noch die Gelegenheit ihm zu sagen, dass es ganz schön blöd und unhöflich gewesen wäre das Gespräch zu unterbrechen, nur um etwas zu tun, was auch eine andere Person erledigen kann >_>

Das mit den Osterhasen-Rechte entziehen finde ich aber umso besser x'D
Vor allem wenn man angemault wird, weil man EINmal bei einem Monatelang geplanten Termin eben NICHT für die Arbeit alles absagen und verschieben kann, aber vorher fleißig allen möglichen bullshit reingedrückt bekommen...
