I always adore harlequin type characters and always wanted one for myself but could never find someone to design one I liked. Finally I sat down and doodled this design and fell in love with her and her story. She is a doll that was sold at a circus that was brought back to life for some unknown purpose. The circus she was at is now her haunting grounds and follows wherever she goes like she’s the master of it. She can turn others into feral animals by using the liquid in her hat and keeps them as pet and loves and cares for them. But if they cross her she will eat them. Another cool fact is that she can use the liquid as bubbles, and sneaks them onto unsuspecting people bubble blowing fun.

I came across Banshee as they came across the explore page here on FA. What makes her interesting is the fact that she has ghost paws instead of arms . Her back story is still a work in progress, but she is basically an experiment who was made by her lover who couldn’t handle the thought of losing her, so he transferred her soul into a doll and became known as Banshee🤍

I think my boy Xander is probably my most interesting character, visually at least lol. He's a bat/dragon/goat/thing hybrid haha. I just love his color palette. Daydaykiry on DA did an incredible job on his design, and I fell in love the moment I saw him! So happy I managed to snag him <3

I never learned how to keep my mind in one track, when I start trying to tell a story I go down one path then branch to 3 others off of the one and lose sight of the original track lol.

Most interesting ... that's a bit hard because I've got a few interesting ones. I like hybrids, and sometimes weird ones like my sea horse/possom girl or my alligator/shrimp girl.

But really, I'd go with Rover. Rover is a good boy and fully believes he is the best dog in the whole world. He enjoys dog things like playing fetch and chase. What Rover doesn't understand (because he's as intelligent as a dog, really) is that he is not a dog, but a big scary monster instead. He doesn't get that people are scared of him, he thinks they just want to play. So he's probably my most interesting for not just design but also personality and full package. :)

Ciara, or more formally Her Royal Majesty, Queen Ciara XIII of Cearnach, is the current queen of a kingdom founded by her direct ancestor a thousand years ago. Much to her chagrin. Born as the result of a brief romance between her father, the former king, and her mother, the kingdom's former general, she grew up far from royal circles. Ascending to the throne after a number of adventures, and hailed as a hero for playing an instrumental role in stopping both a disastrous war and an invasion of her homeland, she has spent the time since ruling fairly, along with her wife, raising her daughter and her younger half-sister, and wishing every day she was still an ordinary farrier like she used to be.

Known, affectionately, to her subjects as Connor's bastard - owing to the fact her parents never wed - she has gained considerable fame by helping to foster a new and apparently lasting peace between her kingdom and the northern lynx kingdom, with whom her people have been at war for five hundred years. She spent much of her younger years living among rabbits, where she met her wife, and as a result typically does not eat meat, though she'll happily eat pretty much anything else. She's also somewhat more comfortable among rabbits than her own species, though this is changing. All of which is not, perhaps, the most original idea, but I'm fond of her.

There are many things I adore about them, the main would have to be the color palette and her mouthtail, I had been looking for a mouth tail for a long time, and when I spotted her I fell head over heels, she's very easy to write into stories, and has fitted into the lore I planned for her, a young child who had been used to lock a demon in her body, which gave her her mouthtail, having to figure out life and how to overcome the strength of the monster inside her, only to runaway as a teen after it possessed her and attacked her mother. There's a lot I still need to do with her and work on, but I am oh so eager to get it done.

But yeah, that's my most interesting character at this moment, and I hope you like her too!

Design was pretty much asking a group to name interesting animal parts: pangolin armor, scorpion tail, antlers, etc; which story-wise is because her parents were in an experimental drug trial for a fertility pill (they had previously done so on a different one, resulting in her older brother who actually does just look like what you'd expect an anteater/shark hybrid to look like) and to put it lightly, this one did not make it to market.

Everyone finds different things interesting. While I adore all of my characters I think the one that is the most unique is my Orcish Werewolf Krothus. He was born of an idea for a defunct rp where the GM needed a villain who would be the complete counter to the BBEG of the game who was almost exclusively magical in nature. He carries inside him an mote of antimagic that counters spells just with his presence. He was also born from my love of werewolves and the World of Darkness campaign setting that the GM let me blend into the world. As such he has multiple forms. His Crinos form was that game's version of what was called an Omega form (a form that channels the inner spirit of the individual). As such his Crinos is even larger than the average in WoD, standing at 22 feet tall. I hope you enjoy it.

My first time drawing up a miniature goat and I have come to love her so much!
I took my time to get her full design correctly as I do with all my characters I create.
Leilani has the loving and sweet side of myself that I am sadly too afraid to show now a days.
At the time, I just randomly doodled this girl up when I wasn't feeling so well.
To have her design, backstory set up, and giving her a personality... it made me feel a little better.
Of course, I ended up hooking her up with another design I have who isn't a goat but more alien. The two are such opposites but both have their own pet.
I see their relationship stronger then the ones I've had. With having many broken hearts, its always nice to see a design whose heart won't ever be broken...

Hers was a matriarchal society, with males treated as second-class citizens at best, and mere breeding stock by many females. As a result, she never met her father, and has no idea what his name was. Following her mother's death when she was only ten, Grace took the throne and ruled for twenty-six years. She was brutal, callous and selfish, and did much to expand the borders of her empire at a tremendous cost in lives to her own people. As a result, she was deposed in a bloody coup and sentenced to death.

There, her story should have ended.

Some unknown time later, she woke up in a shallow grave in an unfamiliar country, with no memory how she had got there, or how to get back. More importantly, it didn't take her long to discover she was under a curse from the gods themselves. She can never die - or, more accurately, she can never stay dead - but every death and resurrection robs her of more of her memory before the coup, and leaves her feeling badly hung over for several days. It also causes her to randomly shift in physical age every morning. One day, she might be a young lady of eighteen, the next a crone bent over under the weight of years.

She has spent the years since as a wanderer and adventurer of sorts and has been fortunate to make a great many friends, lovers and allies along the way. She has learned to value and accept people of all backgrounds and identities, completely abandoning her original attitude toward others, and she seeks, every day, to atone for her past crimes and try to make the world a better place.

Bunnies are her all time favorite thing in the world, whether they walk on two legs like most do on FA, or on four.

This character is actually one of my absolute favorites that I own, but I still to this day have not finished their actual ref lmao As you can see, the one attached is very poorly done. xD

This was the first ever complicated character design I ever took on. It's special to me cause I put a lot of time and energy into making the original adopt come to life. One day I will finish it...one day. But I have always love love LOVED dragons, and when I saw this one for sale, I just had to have her. The wispy/misty horns and space vibe just make my brain so happy. ;w; Also when I bought her, my favorite color was purple, and only purple. xD

She is the spirit of a drowned girl that was accidentally yanked/dove into a witch's familiar summoning spell. She cannot speak except in sign language or in a magical dialect only witches understand.

Story-wise, the witch who summoned her released her b/c yikes, but Noiree found she likes being a magical assistant and learning potionry, so she chose to stay as an apprentice/adoptive daughter.

Personality-wise, she's distrusting, cautious, and snarky, but has that crowlike intelligence and playfulness when around the few she does trust.

I love her because, witch stuff, but also for the sign language! I minored in college and studied ASL for something like 7 years previous. I don't get to use it now that I work remotely, but I like having a character that still does.

Her personality is sassy and mischievous. She can also be really passionate about her pursuits... which makes her a little mad-scientisty at times.

In her world, the planet has one main continent and some islands. For the most part, everything is divided into regions (ocean, forest, mountains, etc) and her people are from the plains. To be exact, her people rule the plains with a few other nomadic tribes. She is the eldest daughter to the tribe chieftain who was born with a very rare ability. She can heal any wound at an extremely fast pace- including growing missing appendages. Since this ability is rare and it is one that makes the holder practically deathless, she gave over her right of succession to her sister and instead travels the continent as a Mercenary. She eventually meets her husband through her many contracted dealings and they agree on a marriage of business. While they are attracted to each other, her husband loves another. She came into the deal knowing this and while she doesn't mind not having love she does appreciate that her marriage at least has affection and freedom. She has many children and I could talk about her, her dynamic with her husband, and her children, all day (if your curious I will spout tons of strange and interesting stories).

this is remornia - she's probably my newest oc, but i am already incredibly attached to her and love her so, so much. she's a large demonic fox that namely does blood magic.
my friend bought me elden ring and then bought it for themself, but we were inspired by the characters such as the red wolf of radagon and sif from the dark souls series - large animals that wield weapons - and decided to make some for ourselves. they made remornia's partner, striga, who hasn't been fully designed yet but i can't wait to come up with more about them when they're finished. i think they might have a 'fused' version where they become more powerful than they already on on their own.

She is the first 'stitched' character I owe and funny enough I drew her for a trade once (to get another character) and later on purchased her, bcs I fell in love XD
I think I just adore the variety of colors and patterns, since especially the dark purple is also a nice contrast in my opinion~ I'm also always a sucker for heterochromia and different colored pupils
