Should i create a fursona for myself?? (plus other things...

Despite the title, I assure you that this is a serious journal.
Okay, I've been working in this world of anthropomorphic animals for years, but honestly I've never considered making myself a fursona. Yes, I created "persona" of myself for some fandoms ... but a furry is a different thing. I have never felt the need to represent myself with an animal and if I am now pondering this option, it is only because I would like to try to join the mass of those artists who use a caricature of themselves.
Speaking of things to do, I'm also considering using a different username for this gallery. "Solaris91" is my name used on the web and I have always been proud to use it. Over time, however, this name has become a symbol of my past (especially of adolescence) while now I need - and i'm using - a name that is my present and will be my future: LaPonto.
You will have often seen in my drawings the signature with this name, it is my current symbol of representation.
Now, regarding this profile specifically, I would like to use a different name considering the "content". One that I can use as an alternative to the types of art I post here only. I'm still thinking about it, so it's not a definitive thing. I know that it is not yet possible to change your username but if this happens, one day, I want to get ready for the occasion.

But you don't have force yourself to make a sona since ultimately, the sona should be something you should be happy to accociate with yourself and your brand. Or hell, just make a sona for just the enjoyment of it. Basically: make a sona for you to enjoy, don't feel pressured to make one and only make one when you feel happy to make it to enjoy the process of doing it
that's fair, although if you do want to create a new profile, that's fairly easy to do if you want to move on, but ultimately, that's your choice
