How.
The PvE in this game is fucking amazing. But holy shit the Meta and balancing issues, ESPECIALLY in PvP are awful.
Souls games have always had balancing issues, but i do really see everyone use the exact same three builds.

I miss DS2's build diversity and good combat arenas. The PvP community for Elden Ring is still trying to decide on suitable places for "honor" duels, but the open-world layout makes it difficult.
