Help me price story comms? [+ upcoming raffle!]

I just finished the last story in my queue (to be posted tomorrow) so I plan to open commissions again in the next couple days. I'm gonna be bumping my prices a bit, but I'm not sure how much.
I think I gave myself the wrong impression when I got started - I looked for other people taking commissions and the first one I found was a fairly popular writer with actual published work, so I assumed they had a pretty good idea of how to price stuff. But now that I'm looking at other writers, it seems like they were really underpriced compared to most people, so I'm not sure what to charge.
For context, here's the price bump I was working with before looking up other writers' prices:
$5 planning fee PLUS
1000-4000 words: $12/1000 words
5000-7000 words: $15/1000 words
8000-10,000 words: $20/1000 words
These prices put me cheaper than most of the other writers I'm seeing on here, and kiiiinda on the lower end of my preferred hourly rate (I price most art stuff to put me roughly in the $10-$15/hour range - my most recent work would've made me about $10-11/hour with those prices). So my question is, should I raise them more? I'd be more comfortable if I did, but I don't want to go out of too many people's budgets. If you were to commission a story, what would your general budget be? Alternatively, how much would you expect to pay for a 2-3 page short story (~1k words) or the equivalent of an average book chapter (~4k words)?
Also!! My birthday is on April 18th, so I'll be doing a 24hr mini writing raffle on that day to celebrate :> so keep an eye out!
