What is Boosty?

I accept payment with Boosty!
What is Boosty? This is the Russian equivalent of Patreon
https://boosty.to/katfishcom
✨ What do you need to know about Boosty?
1. Sometimes the site does not allow you to transfer money to the artist. What it looks like: Constant loading of the page. How to solve it? practically nothing, you just need to repeat the attempt to pay, sometimes you have to wait a day, you can try to use VPN or log in from another browser.
2. The site accepts payment in rubles. But, since the payment goes through PayPal, there is a slightly different dollar to ruble exchange rate. This is due to the fact that PayPal has its own personal dollar rate, which is usually lower than the world one. Because of this, you need to check what the dollar exchange rate is on paypal, because otherwise you can send more money than you planned
3. I haven't heard of Boosty losing money sent to an artist, so don't worry about that.
✨ ABOUT MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION
1 - money is debited once a month, on the day you signed up. In this regard, if you subscribed after the 20th, your subscription is considered as for the next month (that is, if you subscribed from the 1st to the 19th of any month, I draw a sketch for you right away. If you subscribed from the 20th and later, then I draw you next month
2 - It will be more convenient for me if you add to the discord channel, because then you will have a signature and will be on the list xD

I hope they fix it soon, it used to work better (though not perfectly).
I haven't tried subscribing to an artist though.
On the other hand, this person also failed to pay through donations. xD
I really hope that in the future Boosty will solve these errors.
So if I pay via Boosty, I get charged an extra 10% for an "international transaction" fee. Occasionally they just deny the transaction altogether and I have to wait another day. But, this is just how life is right now. 🤷♂️
I’ve been taking some time to let my disposal income reaccumulate, but in the meantime, I’ve wondered if putting money on my Paypal account directly would avoid that issue. My card talks to Paypal, and Paypal allegedly talks to Boosty, but not for me due to my card’s bank. So if I put money on my Paypal account directly, and then pay Boosty without my card being involved, would my card’s bank even give a damn? Eventually, I’m going to give that a try, but I’d love to hear if anyone else has had that issue and tried that solution.
