IMPORTANT UPDATE

Hey everyone! It's been awhile since I was here and a lot has happened since then. I've done a lot of reflection on my life and the state of my current mental health, and I've decided that my involvement in the fandom is affecting my personal life. I've chosen the fantasy over my own reality, and it's hurting me both in the long and short term. I've yearned for the imaginary change that TF provides instead of pursuing the difficult and painful road of true change in myself. I've had several moments where things got really bad, to the point where I was seriously afraid for my own life. I don't trust myself to come back here without falling into old habits, so I think I'm going to take a break from both creating and browsing content.
I've been working a lot on building up constructive habits in my personal life, and I'm seeing therapy regarding my struggles. Hopefully I can bounce back after some dark and scary moments. I've been at this for a couple weeks now but I wanted to make it official.
If you've already purchased a commission or we have already discussed plans for one, I will still try and finish up on that. Once the semester ends (in about 2 weeks) I'll reach out to those people and discuss continuing onwards on those projects. ( This mainly concerns the rest of the Wildworld series, which is currently my only active project)
Of course, I'll still make non-TF art, and I occasionally post on twitter (check me out here: https://twitter.com/Chad_Firepaws) I'll be a lot more active there, but I'm mostly closing this account. (not deleting it, I just won't be active) I might even open up commissions again at some point, but for the time being I'm not doing TF content. Will I come back to doing tf stuff? I'm not sure. I think it's possible, once I've built up an adequate balance between work and life. It's a concept that will always fascinate me. But that won't be for several months at least while I slap my life together. (apart from aforementioned commission work)
But rest assured, if I do come back, I will be much more efficient, active, and produce a much higher quality of work. I must lock myself in a cocoon, but the butterfly that emerges will be beautiful. So for now I bid adieu, in the hopes that when we meet again I will be a new, better person.

Your life comes first, and retreating too much into your fantasy is not good for you and your development in the long run.

I'm glad you enjoyed them and thanks for reading! The good news is, I do intend to finish up the Wildworld series, as I've already worked it out with the buyer. Everything else is postponed until further notice as I try and figure my crap out. It's sad now, but the dividends will pay off aplenty in the future. If I do come back, hopefully I'll be a much better artist and writer, and be able to provide even better content!
