I got knocked off-line for two days, by six-inches of wet snow that fell Monday night into Tuesday,
that rivaled an ice storm for knocking out power danged near everywhere. In fact, the reports of
wires down, came so thick and fast that the power company nearly lost it's mind. My family was
one of the lucky ones, our electricity only went out briefly, twice. Even now, two days later, there
are still thousands of people still in the dark, some of whom won't get it back till Saturday at the
earliest.

Oh... and both Dumb Florida Man and Florida Woman who think that throwing a chain to where it would wrap around two wires would fix a problem that they're having with no power at their house. Yeah, that's why I would invest in those things.
