I posted the first Chapter of my in-progress Chirin no Suzu follow-up. Again, no rush on reading it. It's there and it's not going anywhere anytime soon, so just read at your leisure. Just for reference, I didn't hate the ending of the film, I felt it appropriate, I just wanted to throw Chirin a bone, and my story shows there is always a light for even the darkest of souls.
