yeah... this stuff has been brewing for awhile now, so i figure it's time to let it out in the open
several months ago, i sent http://www.furaffinity.net/user/runihura/ some of my old Werewolf the Apocalypse rpg books in return for some artwork of my character. thus far, in return, i've recieved an ebook and a moderately finished sketch, while in total, the books that i sent are probably valued at $100 or more. now, he ignores my messages through IM and Furcadia. go figure.
also, i made the mistake of prepaying http://www.furaffinity.net/user/gazadaz/ for two commissions, because she needed money for a "car payment". so out of the goodness of my heart i sent her $80. afterwards, she decided to disappear for about a month. now, she's ignoring my comments and it looks like she's spent her time going to visit her boyfriend and play World of Warcraft. why does she need help with her car payments?
on the good note however. i got an awesome piece from http://www.furaffinity.net/user/cheauv/ and paid her well for it. commission her if you can, she needs food badly.
was supposed to be on the commission list of http://www.furaffinity.net/user/herisheft/ but then her computer died but now it's back and her list seems rather full.
long long ago, i got http://www.furaffinity.net/user/malachi/ to draw my character and send me the actual piece in the mail. she's an excellent artist and if you can commission her then i suggest you do as you won't be disappointed.

I hate to think there may be more unscrupulous individuals in the furry community than usual...anyway, is there anything you can do?
In any case, I applaud your writing a journal about it. It's important to let others know so that they won't fall victim as well.
