personal health update/warning
so the last couple of days i’ve had weird bouts of persistent dizziness/lightheadedness. usually if i experience something like that, a little 30 minute nap or hydration/food fixes it immediately, but this time it hasn’t. in fact, i think the dizziness gets *worse* after eating. i also get plenty of sleep and normally that means i am UNABLE to fall asleep during my normal ‘waking’ hours, but due to the dizziness, i’ve been able to sleep for up to five hours in the middle of the day, also going to sleep early after that. i haven’t spent much time awake the past few days, basically.
pretty sure my hilariously awful diet has finally caught up to me and i gave myself diabetes, but i’ve never actually known anyone in-person who had it so i’m not sure. obviously gonna go to the doctor to find out but i have a very bad history with them not listening to a word i say and also trying to pressure me into various procedures i’m not having... so... we’ll see.
i may be inactive for a while or ever- so sorry about that

OP
thanks for the offer! have you always had it or did you get it later in life? do you think my sudden persistent dizziness could be diabetes or am i missing more telling symptoms?

I was diagnosed a year ago. Mine was dizziness and constant headaches. I also went to the bathroom a lot and was always thirsty. Like ALWAYS drinking water. If you are take steps now to help yourself. For foods. If you like cheese your in luck it is my no.1 snack and great. Eggs too. Meat is good but. Pasta, bread ,regular sodas ,orange juice or anything with a super high amounts if carbs or sugar are poison to you now. ( I still eat a sandwich or drink a soda rarely and usually when my blood sugar is low.) If you got more questions hit me up on telegram I'd be happy to answer them.

Definitely something to get checked out if it might be diabetes or even pre-diabetes. Even if it's not it might be a good indicator on improving your diet- even taking small steps can help out in the long run.
