Lot of people in Russia and Ukraine use boosty now it seems

Unfortunately is not an option for me. It's a Russian platform, and I don't want to use it. Cause if I use Russian platform which pays taxes to the government and government pay russian soldiers. I feel like I'm sponsoring war in Ukraine. I'm Ukrainian and currently in Ukraine. I don't want to use anything that can be sponsored someone's death in Ukraine.
And I think this site doesn't work in Ukraine. I can't open it even using VPN.

If buymeacoffee works, then I say use that. I wouldn't mind using that to pay for things. I'll try to buy something when I get paid in a few days.

I have sent UA artists payments via FA Shinies, Kofi, Buymeacoffee and Fiverr but I prefer the ease of Paypal for a couple of reasons. Even before all this war mess I always sent money via Friends and Family when I was paying for art already done. And depending on the artist or the cost I would sometimes do that on prepayments also. It shows trust and gives the artist all of the money with no charges even though it limits me to the ways I can pay. I can only use sources that don't charge Paypal, like my Paypal balance and a bank account transfer. I lose the buyer protection if the work is never done but I take that chance.

Perhaps I am different, but in a time of war I see my payment as a donation as I understand it may be some time before I get my pic and may never. Maybe accept payment via friends and family with a contract to complete the work or maybe offer a discount to those who use it since you keep all the money.

I find Boosty wants too many things from me, they insist on getting my phone number now to unlock my account I have used before without it. Who owns Boosty anyway?

I sell stereo equipment on US Audio Mart with a lot of great feedback and then 100% good feedback on my Ebay account. So that folks know that I dont want to ruin my streak of good feedback by disappointing them and I have had buyers offer to pay me with F&F with no issues so far.

I used PayPal invoices recently, cause it's like an official deal that I can prove in case of different occasions. Too many transactions with "friends and family" from lots of different accounts may be suspicious and Paypal may ban my account.

My friend told me about Patreon and Payoneer, I just need time to understand how it works.

Boosty service belongs to Mail.ru Group (also known as VK company) which is a Russian company. I don't want to use anything related to Russia. As i said in a previous reply
