A Sleepy Day

Webber Catches a Frog Pt 2
Hi,
After staying up most of the night reading lore on small slimy deities... I came up with nothing. It was difficult to drag myself out of my fluffpile this morning, but I didn't want miss out on the Academy classes for the day... We were learning how to make slippyjelly after all... which sounded interesting. I was half tempted to skip school in pursuit of my own studies, but perhaps the slippyjelly knowledge could come in handy someday...
I prepared myself for academy as usual... I started with a tasty salmon rice breakfast from my cooling rocks, then I combed out my frizzy fur. As I walked over to the cave pool I was surprised to see that round slimy little creature napping in the center. I thought for sure it had left. It didn't seem terribly invested in me as I washed my face off....
.... After classes I returned to my cave with my vial of slippyjelly. It was not terribly difficult to make... perhaps in another journal I will write about it more. I looked for the creature in the pools but could not find it... The creature had moved from the pools onto my fluffplie now. ... Even though he was surely getting slime on it, I let him be. Perhaps he needed time to acclimate, although I did make it clear he was free to leave....
As I was sweeping the dust out of my home with my large tail, it occurred to me I had not given this creature any sort of name. In all honesty by this point I figured the creature would have written it out, or perhaps told me with a telepathic ability. What name could I call this creature as a placeholder? I continued to ponder this as I sorted my collection of treasures...
I began to nod off as I finished my dinner. I had been very low energy all day. I used the last of my energy to write before curling up on my fluffpile.
Hmm, a rather uneventful day today, And a rather sleepy one at that.
Perhaps tomorrow I could look into more ecology books. Religious texts did not seem to get me anywhere.
The little creature seemed unbothered when I laid down beside it. Surely tomorrow I could spend more time understanding it.

Thanks for reading!
It's a pretty low energy vibe today, so a low energy journal to match.
Feel free to check out part one of Webber Catches a frog for more.
