SO
My PC has 2 hdmi ports that I guess are linked to the graphics system, cause i run my two pc screens through them and my 3rd port will not work for a screen
I now have a oculus rift VR set up, that needs a HDMI port, and it also wont work through this 3rd port etc, so I have to switch out ym second screen for the headset when i wana play
I wana know if i can get an adapter to split one of the two viable ports into two new ones, so i have 3 ports
or if i can get some kinda software download that will let the third random port communicate to the right parts of my PC the way i need
I have a gaming pc that I bought as a prebuilt rig, I know fucking nothing about building PC's etc
so i have no idea if, should a multi adapter for the hdmi port exist like i want, if HDMI ports even work like that
all the adapters i can find are, like, usb to hdmi adapters, and i assume they will be just like my 3rd random port that dont work
pls offer any info that could help in any way, or am i stuck switching hdmi cables forever

could be different tho if youre using like a male-DP female-HDMI adapter to plug the hdmi cable into vs one cable like i did? really dont know tbh
If you have a link to the PC specs, or a description of it from the seller, that'd be very good.
Slightly harder way:
https://www.techpowerup.com/downloa.....powerup-gpu-z/
Left side of the screen, there's a box that says
'TechPowerUp GPU-Z v2.46.0

With a blue download link, click download. Click one of the flags near you. Run the program. Click do not install/classic mode. It will display a BUNCH of info, but at the top it will say 'name.' That's what we need. ALso, in the bottom left, left of close, it will display the name again, if you click that, it may display more names, we need those too.
TYPICALLY, on a gaming PC, there is a dedicated graphics card (that's what makes them proper gaming pcs...) and sometimes built in. Often times, especially on an AMD based gaming PC, the built in is non functional, so in that big cluster of connections, the HDMI port can't work.
MOST more modern gaming PCs also have display port, which can be used with an adapter to HDMI.
Display ports look kind of like big HDMI connectors if you squint. https://i.imgur.com/UIyw7gJ.jpeg
