I don't talk about my irl stuff here much, but my life partner irl has many physical issues and is only in her twenties. I own our house, but as a mental healthcare worker and her only being on disability means that it's difficult to make ends meet sometimes. We're also facing challenges due to continuing neuropathy in her legs and we need to make significant alterations to the house to prevent her from needing to move into assisted living for the rest of her life.
We need to update our electrical system in the house and install a heavy duty outlet to have a stairlift as well as get and install an accessible bathtub.
