Spatial mathematics and their relevance to fatbats

Alex Grey's Preference-O-Meter

Well, today, while messing about like the bored people of the younger generation do. I decided in a completely random act of geometry, to see what my character should probably weigh.
The average fruit bat of the Macroglossus sobrinus variety would be a tiny 4 centimetres long and weigh approximately 20 grams.
Scale this up to four feet (or 121.92 centimetres), the height of Mr Grey - and taking into account the maintenance of width and depth as well as height in the growth process and you get 566336.93184 grams.
To put that in a scale you're more used to, that's 1248.56 pounds or 89.18 stone... the weight of eight average human adults, for Mr Grey to be THIN. Alexander Grey currently has a standard weight of 350 pounds, he's practically anorexic.
Expect the base weight to be revised to something akin to a metric ton (or something) in the future.

It does claim to use the same principles you mention though.
