Last night, I had a bunch of McDonalds for dinner.
I start off doing so well, and then one damn McDonalds ad and it's all over.
One trick I use is to pick the next thing Im going to eat before I get hungry. I pick something that Im fine eating but Im not super into. Apples are nice cause they transport well. Then any time I think Im hungry I think about eating the item and if Im actually hungry I eat it and if Im not actually hungry I realize that Im not actually hungry.
It helps by both changing what youre eating and making you more aware of why youre eating and when.
The truth is, I don't even really have a weight problem, I mean I'm not where I want to be but it's not a huge deal, but I do have a cholesterol problem. So, getting McDonalds is not a good idea for me.
This allows me to be lazy 3-4 days in a row, eating the same thing for lunch and dinner because I'm a badass.
The trick is to make so many meal boxes that you can't get takeout, because then your leftovers will be a week old (and then I start to worry about the taint getting on my food... y'know... the taint).
