We had to put down our cat
Hani, our cat who was diagnosed with cancer had to be put down today. He was doing really bad, and pills didn't make any difference. He was already very stressed and weak, so I know it was the best decision. All that time I was really worried about him, but now everything is over, so I can go back to my normal schedule.
I'm so sorry. Its really hard to lose a loved companion. Take some time to grieve before you jump back into it. Some may say it was just a cat, but he was a part of your family, and processing the loss is important, even if it hurts.
I had to let my cat go, and I thought at that time, I was okay, it didnt hit until a week after.
so, take a bit of time to yourself. find a plae to memorize your beloved pet, and your audience will understand, and if they do not? then they are heartless and do not deserve your attention/
hiugs
A few times I've given one of their charges a 'forever' home. The latest one has been here over 9 years.
All this still just feels like just words. When its then and your faced with the doubts and questions. Still years later I KNOW it was right to let Merlin go, no real recovery from that bad a renal failure. But Il forever miss that goober, and waking up with him on my head snooze puring in my ear. sorry memories
