But it works a little differently this time. I'm trying a new system where instead of having fixed number of slots and discarding all the unpicked ones, the commissions will now be open indefinitely and I pick submissions on an interest basis.
In the interest of fairness and to avoid confusion, each submission has a 3-month lifetime. So if you submit a commission request and I happen to not pick it within those 3 months, it expires and gets thrown of the list. That of course does not mean I had no interest in it, I may just not had enough time to get to it. I hope that doesn't discourage you from approaching me again.
This new system is experimental, so there may be some bumps and confusion, and if so then just feel free to ask or let me know!

Not very creative, but why not try?
I do not notify that I don't have interest in a request. My interest changes constantly so I wouldn't want to go around telling people I don't find their request interesting because I didn't find it interesting at the time.
