Discord server & commissions - opinions please?

So I've been considering making a discord art server of my own for a while now. Usual stuff, just a place for likeminded peeps to share and discuss arts & other junk, but most importantly I'd like to use it as a main focus for commissions announcements and openings, as it's getting a bit wild trying to promote slots in several different sites and servers. Would this be something that people would be cool with? Please let me know what you guys think :v
I tend to use Discord for discussing commission details with artists. Especially since it makes it REALLY easy to exchange templates and WIPs as well as a little chat from time to time.
