Our Plural System/Headmate Masterlist

So we're pretty aware of how big our plural system is in terms of distinct named headmates, as well as how much space that takes up on our profile @w@; So! We're moving the bulk of that information to a dedicated journal and simply list who is most actively fronting at the moment to our profile (typically it's only about 3-4 of us that are really active at any one time).
For those of you that are newer to plurality as a concept, here's a fairly comprehensive primer/intro on such from r/plural! But in brief terms, plurality is essentially "more than one self/individual in one body", with a huge range of meanings depending on who you talk to. Every system (a term to describe the collective of all the selves, also known as headmates) works in their own unique ways with their own inner workings and patterns and things that make 'em tick. Just as there's many sub-identities in queerness, there's lots in plurality; be open to hearing such and you'll hear many an adventure of selves and self-discovery <3 (And who knows, you might find something out about yourself!)

And ooo yes, is a mighty good example there! A lotta those experiences also line up with our system too o:
I could never quite figure out what was going on, but I knew something was up with our identity in a way that we just couldn't wrap our heads around for the longest time.
It wasn't until the start of January 2019 that we learned what it was when we talked with a plural friend at the time, and then it was a fast connecting-of-the-dots to realizing that, oh, that's us! We're also plural!
From there we just kept finding out about more and more headmates and exploring their personalities, understanding our dynamics, how we tick, our probable origins, our relationship to trauma/how it molded us, etc. And it's been an adventure ever since.
All the signs are crystal clear to us too, in retrospect. Honestly, I think the main thing that held us back was that we just didn't know plurality was even a thing, so we just never explored or considered such for years and years. But am very happy we took the leap
