I've been wondering if it's possible to get emails or notifications when specific artists upload on FA. Does anyone know if it's possible?

I don't believe so
Make FA your homepage to check it a lot. That's what I do but if you find an alert feature let me know. I don't think there is one, perhaps we can suggest it.

Oh! If you want push notifs id recommend getting FABUI, its a browser extension
