And you try to convince yourself that if you stay under the covers or keep all your limbs on the bed that the monsters in your room won't be able to get you, but deep down you know that they could get through your covers and onto your bed if they wanted? That feeling of not only crushing terror but also complete and utter helplessness to prevent a long, horrible, painful death from coming for you?

Yeah. Paranormal Activity reaches into the depths of your brain and wakes that part up. Good movie but goddamn I had nightmares last night. And am still shaky today.
