Story Retrospective: Diapers Vore and Popcorn

From here on out, or until I change my mind, the journals I post going over my thoughts on stories that I've posted will be known as story retrospectives. Now onto the main journal topic.
A few recent events in my life inspired me to write this story. The first event was a trip I took to the movies to watch Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The second event was a particularly difficult day at my job. Combine those recent experiences with a bout of horniness and Diapers Vore and Popcorn was the result.
Going into this I really wanted to write a story that included adult baby activities and practices. Despite being a diaper lover myself I've never been an AB but I still felt like I should try including more elements of AB in my writing. Under certain circumstances I find the daddy baby dynamic kind of cute and heart warming. This has nothing to do with the story but the primary reason I enjoy that dynamic was because of the artwork made by SharkyPaddedBottom.
For the two lead characters I wanted a big buff mammalian daddy and chunky "cub" that was a predatory animal species. I had big cows on the brain so I went with an animal I don't see a lot of which ended up being a bison, specifically a north American bison, otherwise known as a buffalo. I also enjoy it when a predator in a vore story is an herbivore, so that also influenced my choice for Vince's species.
Looking back on things I probably should have given Vince more "dad-like" qualities with regards to his appearance. He had the right body type but his clothing I feel like was lack luster. I should have made his wear a button up or a sweater vest, some kakis, a belly and a pair of loafers. The only real piece of "dad-wear" I gave him was a pair of glasses that quickly became irrelevant to the story.
When I write my next vore related story I'll definitely need to give my main predator a different body type. I imagine having all my vore story protagonists being big muscled, potbellied, big boys is going to get a little repetitive after a while.
With Peter his species of choice was influenced by the phrase "Go get'm tiger" and the fact that I wanted a predatory animal in the soft baby role. I also wanted the "baby" to have a heavy-set body type. It's a figure that sees very little representation especially in ABDL works. Like sharky with the daddy cub dynamic I really enjoy chunky boys in big diapers thanks to the artist known as Lundo. Overall I was very satisfied with portrayal of his character and appearance in the story. One detail I made certain to include in the story regarding Peter was the separation of cub time and horny adult time. I feel like its important to have distinct times when a character indulges in baby time and adult time.
From the very start the plot I had in mind was fairly simple and I wanted to keep things short. A daddy and his cub go to the theater to have some baby time and watch a fun movie, they encounter rude people at the theater, daddy and cub eat them, post digestion shenanigans ensue, then they have diapered post vore sex. One detail I wasn't 100 percent certain on was if Vince would be wearing a diaper. I wrote "all that and more was underneath..." near the beginning of the story but initially it more or less was meant to imply more muscles or a huge penis. It wasn't until I was nearly finished the story that I decided that the line near the start would act as foreshadowing for the reveal that Vince had been diapered the whole time. I was going to write a scene where Vince would have been immobilized due his urgent need to poop so he would tell Peter to get a diaper and put in on him but I felt like the scene would have been needlessly long so I decided that Vince would already have a diaper on. On top of keeping things short and sweet it also let me write a fun scene where his jeans get destroyed.
While it wasn't mentioned in the story when it comes to using diapers Vince is much more comfortable with wetting than he is messing. He'll piss himself until he's nearly leaking but will almost always try to find a bathroom if he needs to poop. That's why he was so embarrassed when he pooped himself just outside of his house and why he was so desperate to get inside.
Peter on the other hand has no problems with loading his pampers to their limits. He'll flood and load his diapers on the spot if he has even the slightest urge. Peter is actually the reason why Vince wears diapers in the first place. He's also the more active predator out of the two. There's a reason why he's so chunky compared to his active predator boyfriend.
As I'm writing this journal I just thought of an idea for a prequal story about how these two met. That might be fun to write if I feel motivated to do so later on.
I think that's all I have to say about my latest story. I had fun writing it and I'm fairly happy with how it turned out.
