Keeping Content Ungated

I've so far been happy with the choice to remove the boundary of Patreon for content. I need to make money and a living, but I've always felt bad about having to gate content off to people who can't afford it. I know the feeling of wanting to see art or something from someone's favorite artist and you just don't get to cause you're broke. I didn't like the idea of being part of that.
Because of that though, I do rely on commissions and donations to keep things that way. Currently, I'm still working through my backlog of commissions, as I also don't want to become the artist that leaves old commissions to rot and forgotten. Everyone will get what they paid for, period. It's taking a while, due to the unfortunate reality of disabilities, but I'm getting there, slowly but surely. So, I'm mostly relying on donations more than anything else.
If you do have any extra money to help out, it would mean the world to me. Whether I get donations or not, content will remain free to all, and no new queues will be opening aside from pure emergency or special sketches until the backlog is complete and the past commissioners are satisfied, but helping is massive, and helps to keep my life going.
