The Key of Joy is disobedience

Dunno if anyone watching me is into Airsoft but I recently got into it. Already got my license (which is required in NL before you can buy any Airsoft replica weapon) and I already got my weapon. Got myself the German beauty G36C. AEG (battery-powered) seemed like the best way to start off. This Friday (24.06.2022) I'll have my first training with the weapon and the basic skills/rules that are required for the game.

Is there anything I should absolutely know about that only someone familiar with the game would know? Any gear I absolutely need? What to watch out for? What to ignore? I dunno, lemme know :3

Here's what I got already:
- G36C with 2 spare magazines
- 1 battery (8.4V 1100 mAh, came with the weapon) + 1 battery (8.4V 1600 mAh) the way
- Weapon case (padded)
- Speedloader
- Red Dot sight
- Vertical grip
- Safety glasses
- Facemask
- 3300 BB's

Non serviam my friends. There are no gods, beyond those made ov human flesh. There is no more divine potential than a human potential and let this be the mightiest ov all laws!

I haven't done airsoft stuff but I've done paintball and if they're similar at all, you're gonna want some pads/armor or at least a chest piece and some thick jeans

I'm now having flashbacks of all the welts

Oooh pads and armor will definitely be part of my outfit. BB's are smaller than paintballs so I guess they hurt less but still, something padded/thick might not be bad

hmmmm i remember a story where soldiers where doing training practices (urban warfare if im right) and the OC's squad was given a few hours to set up some defenses. they didnt have much other then a parachute cord but put that at ankle height in case the other side did just storm in they would trip in fall, despite being trained to look first. Well the enemy side stormed in, first guy tripped and caused a dominoes effect with the rest, shot them 'dead'. So possible if allowed set up trip cables for some easy 'kills'/defenses. If they are in a rush they may not pay attention to door ways or other such areas and just fall over.
But i would ask if that is allowed. if so get a strong cord to bring along to set up the trip wires and be careful when going through door ways

I use compressed nitrogen for my setups face mask gloves and stuff to sort of blend in with the area spare mags and even get some of the best that have a bit of paint/or bang really loud if you have some cheaters. And work out make sure you can run jump ect
