Oh snap - lets hope it doesn't turn into another of those accounts that get wiped and then the hackers post freaky gore pictures on it to lure people into clicking suspect links and get the account banned

I had my DA account hacked once. Over 5 years ago I think. The fact they allow brute force hacking is just insane. What I mean is they don't lock the account out, or didn't at the time, after so many tries at getting in, so they just take a bot to it to systematically try different passwords.

They then found my email address in DA's system, and sent me an email demanding 10 grand in bitcoin or they would send all my stuff out to everyone I knew in order to embarrass me. Well, I don't have any contacts, and it's not like it would have been all that damning anyway. Complemented me on my taste. Either way, ignored it, changed passwords, etc. etc.

DA's just a shitty site in general in my opinion, and that was even before they went with the anti-user eye bleach they got now.

They are going to try anyway, I suggest making sure you have a strong password, the phrase and numbers garbage, etc.

It seems like they do limit the number of tries and or block the ip but only for a limited number of times. So they've been trying this multiple times today. I so don't need this stress.

I'm pretty sure it's some NFT bot looking to compromise an account that sells quite a lot of original pieces. DA is flooded with NFT bots as of late. I've seen enough of them when uploading stuff. I doubt DA staff is doing much of anything about it, though. They're not exactly good at doing their job policing their site.

Weirdness! I don't even sell that much in comparison to a lot of others.
