IRL Moving

Congrats me, I've become a home owner (Well Condo owner) - I now own a semi-basement unit which I am moving into tomorrow. It's been a lot of work the past weeks to prepare for the move, and today was spent cleaning 3 different places and packing the final boxes, all that's left is my computer sitting on this desk and the router, nerd 4 life.
Honestly not looking forward to it though, because once the move is complete, I will be living completely alone. Before I was with my sister in a apartment we rented together, but she wanted us to split to our own places so this is it happening. That means there'll be no one to just talk to about the day, help with cooking and cleaning, and help with any challenge that might come my way. It'll just be myself, and I don't trust myself to keep my place clean or feed myself properly now that all the tasks will require more effort than previously.. Good thing I bought a robot vacuum and mop I guess.
I should write more journals, but my life tends to be tame and boring so I never know what to say anyway.
Y'all be safe.

And yeah, I know the feeling, going out on your own can definitely be intimidating at first, but the peace and freedom makes it worth it IMO.
As for feeding yourself, something that I learned pretty quickly was that it makes things a lot easier if you have a few recipes that can hold well in the fridge, or better yet the freezer. Make a nice big pot of something yummy one night, then separate the leftovers into portions and freeze them. Then you can thaw and reheat them as needed for nice easy meals. I do it a lot with stuff like beef and veggie soup, and then I add a handful of cheese and some broken tortilla chips to it after reheating it. Super easy, and plenty filling.
We oughta chat more often.
Congrats on getting a new place. Just know it's going to be daunting, and intimidating and hard. But this is just an adjustment period, nothing to worry about. You'll figure it out with time. It's a new experience, a grand experience towards something better! You got this!
