Hello!
Decided to share info about my current condition at the moment.
First, my vacation is already over, I've been working all recent week. Still, that week was a good break for me. Like I said before, I visited doctor last week and he assigned new corrected treatment for me till mid-July. I still feel not very well, but during my last visit doctor said that there are some improvements. We'll see how it will be in a month. Maybe I'll finally feel better though I don't feel any improvements so far. Since it is chronic illness it cannot be fully healed, but maybe current disease recurrence will be stopped in July. Maybe not. Time will tell.
But yeah, my health encouarged me to make more polls&journals recently So, accodring to my latest journal here and a poll on DA, most of my watchers share my thoughts about Krystal's role in Star Fox series. I myself prefer seeing her in Team Star Fox until she gets pregnant and settles down with Fox:) Also as a Fox&Krystal shipper I surely think that steady evolution and development of their relationship gives more chances for creating close-knit family in the future rhather than them reuniting after terrible break up as well Krystal hating Fox and working with Star Wolf. Honestly, I doubt that they can re-create healthy relationship after that Command drama. Still I saw that some people on DA chose "Star Wolf" and "Kursed" variants. I would be sincerely curious to hear why do they prefer this variants!
Anyway, that's it for today. For now I will be waiting until mid-July and work on some new art.

While I like Command as a game, and some of the story beats, the Krystal arcs were basically there to try to make everyone happy.
No one knows where to go with Star Fox as a whole, and with Krystal in particular. She’s too polarising a character in the Star Fox fan base.
Thankfully, we have fan artists like you to show us what could be.
Not sure whether either Fox or Krystal would fully settle down. I get the feeling that Fox would always be restless, but want to be there for his son, not risking death.
Krystal, would probably still want to help people, and explore the wonders of the galaxy, and especially to share that experience with her son. But not necessarily in a ‘hands on’ way of directly fighting.
Yes, I agree - it looks like Krystal's storylines in Command was an attempt to appeal to everyone but as a result - almost noone liked her arc in that game.
That's sad. Star Fox world has much potential but it is unlikely we will ever see new real Star Fox game, only cameos such as Smash or Starlink. As for Krystal - I am pretty much certain that she was erased from the series after Command, so I don't think she will appear in Star Fox in any way.

It is a good question. I saw different takes on their possible future, such as Krystal working as mental therapist (since she is telepath). Fox amy remain mercenary, or join Cornerian army in some way. Interesting subject to explore for sure.
Star Fox is a problematic series where they have no idea where to take it. Indeed, I think they put themselves into a corner with it.
They try something new, like command, or Adventures, people think ist too different and 'not Star Fox'
They try the same stuff, its too much like 64.
Its not really like Zelda or Mario where you can pretty much keep doing the same thing slightly differently.
And doesn't help that many people want solid storylines these days as well.
As for Krystal. Well, the Internet will never forget her. And she (and many other forgotten characters) still get referenced in Smash Bros. Hope springs eternal, and I'd say she's only slightly less likely to show up again than the chance of there being another good Star Fox game.
Indeed, seems like they don't know what to do with the series, I think games of different genres can fit Star Fox universe and there are many ways to create good story for it. But after failure of Zero I am not sure Nintendo will want to give another chance this problematic series that doesn't even sell well.
Yeah, chances for another good (or at least brand new) Star Fox game are small. In fact Command was the last new game in the series, even Zero was just another remake of SF64 (which was also a remake of original SF). I guess we can still see Krystal in Smash, but it is unlikely we'll ever see her as a part of Team Star Fox again, even as cameo.
Personally, unless someone comes up with a new idea and has support to get it going, I think the series is dead.
As much as it did not fit the series, Adventures was a good game. And I think, had they added a bit more space battle and exploration, they could have moved the series more in that direction. But yeah, after Zero, they're unlikely to take the risk with anything Star Fox.
