In my first two NaNoWriMo attempts, I failed miserably, too. I didn't even make it to 10k the second time. But: in my next six (yes, you read that right, six) attempts, I made it. Who knows? This year might be your year. It's not too late to start. :)

Too true, though I'm getting a bit superstitious about the whole thing. Both times I tried it I got a bit of a start then had super pressing urgent junk happen. Family drama the first year, wound up having to drive 5000 miles in a week during the second. Currently I'm involved in two legal things that are rather serious, so I don't want to press my luck.

Though I do have a premise ... And I did just get Q10 installed and working again ... Maybe I'll participate, but not say I'm participating ... Shhh... ;)

I'm sorry for not being creative... I have been out nearly the entire weekend, Went to a friend's home on saturday, stayed until Sunday night and then went out to dinner with some co-workers to celebrate the birthday of one of them
