honestly discord has been a wild ride this morning, I wonder if something is up server side because it kept randomly muting people or kicking them from voice chats as well.

Getting kicked from a Discord server doesn't just randomly happen; if users are being removed from the server, someone or something is doing it, and just creating a new invite link for the same server won't make anything different.

Checked the audit logs?

I am a noob at discord... so I've been doing some utube tutorials.

The Audit Log should be easily accessible on the sidebar when you go into the server's settings. This section logs every moderation-type action performed, whether it's as small-time as adding or renaming an emoji or as big as kicking and banning users. It'll tell you who, what, and when, though unfortunately it doesn't retain the content of deleted messages for you to read.

make sure the invite isn't set as a "temporary invite" because that might be what is causing sudden removals. :0
