Random outbursts of short crying or yelling are normal. He's either very surprised or actually terrified.

I have had moments like this recently as well, at least with the sadness. Don't know why as they happen at random as well, although I suspect that it is because of stress that I end up having these moments. Thankfully I ensure that it doesn't get noticed by anyone, as I feel like the drama isn't needed in a public place but holding the feelings for so long can be bad in the long run, as again I suspect it is supposed to release stress.

Yeah. I tend to just keep these to myself for the most part. I like to talk to myself.. More than I need to, really. It's just fun to talk to yourself about stress and converse with no one

It's definitely good to reflect on how things have been. I personally talk with what is essentially an imaginary friend, and not only is that a stress-free way of talking about your problems, but, if you do it right, it also gives you an outside perspective of yourself, which can be good with trying to understand why something happened. It isn't perfect, as they see the world the same, or at least similarly, to how you see it, but it can help out a lot.

Mhm. It's just better to be able to do something in private that helps you think better and just give you a better view of everything in your life so far
