Well, here's the problem; the United States is a crime ridden mess; one of the reasons is the issue of selling mass-produced firearms to those that aren't even police, military, and the like.

Maybe if the United States changed the law where, it wouldn't be illegal to OWN a lethal firearm, but it WOULD be illegal to SELL them without legal government permission, then maybe America would be a MUCH safer place, in comparison! (To the point, where, if you wanted a lethal gun You'd have to make it yourself from scratch or spare parts, CUSTOM MADE!) To the point, where the only firearms legal to sell would be non-lethal ones like stun guns, paintball guns, air soft rifles, and the like.

What's stopping your local gun stores from turning into Mexican bars and giving away free guns with their 500$ nachos?

Unfortunately, nothing.

The problem is, firearms KEEP EASILY GETTING INTO THE WRONG HANDS; even mere pistols of all things!

Maybe if companies promoted the mass production of non-lethal firearms that DID NOT cause serious injury, maybe America would be a LOT safer, in comparison! (Especially from violent crime rates, of all things!)

If I needed to get a potentially lethal weapon, when I was an independent business owner? I'd probably get something like a nodachi, when it comes to a terrorist, and slash them to their demise, if I have to. Because as far as mass-produced lethal firearms, go? Best leave those to SWAT teams, military, and even government agencies like the FBI, CIA, FDA, and the like!
