Welp, it has been six long years since I saw myself forced to flee my country. The road has been long and unforgiving, carrying not only the baggage of my past in another land but also the hopes and the dreams that I had to leave behind.
To quote the great Arturo Uslar Pietri:

Above the pain and embarrassment of what has happened, today
more than ever we will have the opportunity and even the challenge
of remaking a country capable of achieving the goals offered
by its great possibilities.
