I know REAL gamers long gave up on this franchise.
But AAA corpos don't care what the details are in the distinctions between the two.
They only see WHALES.

If I were to ever have such large amount(s) of money I hope that I remember this and I don't do spending like that. OO.
And the tards who stream video games wasting huge amount of cash treat it like a badge of honor.
this is probably a better experience than grinding the dungeons lol https://dimi777.github.io/diablo-rift-simulator/
Take the Assassin Creed Game's. I spent money for that Atlantis and First Blade DLC in Odyssey. Didn't regret that.
Now what can really get a person in actually spending money, or a currency of some kind in-game. I don't know if you know this but in the Assassin Creed Game's one doesn't directly spend money in the in-game store for item's. One must first buy Helix Credit's and that is what is used in place of actual money money.
In the past if there a new gear set came out I'd take a look and see not only the Helix Credit Price but if I really wanted it. I was extremely careful when I did such spending in the past. It's so easy to over reach, over spend.
And on a final note, those idiot's on YouTube make it hard for gamer's like me to talk about this cause we're all being clumped together. Lot's of people think it's wasteful to spend ANY amount of money on a game after the initial purchase. I think that $29.99 for a Season Pass or a DLC is reasonable, $39.99 would be pushing the limit there and the content had most certainly better be worth it.
Or perhap's spending $15 or $20 on Helix Credit's for an Assassin's Creed Game is also reasonable in my opinion as long as it's not frequently done.
Hell some games monetarily penalize you for just playing it.
People who let themselves be exploited by these predatory practices are part of the problem.
I forgot what game it's called but a few year's ago I saw a video on YouTube and this game has an annoying feature. Once you've played the game for a certain amount of time in one day, I think it was 3 or 4 hour's, you'll start getting these in game messages that pretty much tell you that you've played enough today and should go outside. If you keep playing then the messages become more frequent and eventually the messages will start popping up during mission's/quest's rather then in-between them. If a message pop's up at just the wrong moment then it can at least cause a player to simply fail the mission and at the worst, cause a player to die.
I keep my spending under control so that I don't accidentally become part of the problem. Have I spent a little more in the past cause 1 or 2 more item's caught my eye, yes. Ain't gonna lie. $20 on Helix Credit's could become $30 or $35 grand total. Which is why I had forced myself to not have a wondering eye and stick to what I already decided on.
Going over a little can lead to going over alot.
But sometime's one can indulge and or go over without it being a problem.
Or at least I think so.
Here's this as an example.

The UAH isn't my currency and I don't know what it'd be converted to USA money. But my focus here is the Helix Credit's. So let's say that after I buy what I wanted/planned to I see that I still have some Helix Credit's. It can either be the 200 HC in the pic or it could be abit higher. I would then go to the Gear Section to see if I'd want a single item and if I have enough HC. If not enough HC but I see an item I want then I make a note of it for when I'd do a planned purchase again in future, which had been as long as month's apart or close to a year apart. The trick is to have enough willpower, enough smart's to not buy willy nilly. It can be so hard not to fall into that trap.
I wanna talk about something else/similar but this is long enough already. Will wait until you reply, if you reply.
