Quicker Update!
Woo, here's to trying to be consistent with Journal updates again! Also, I finally switched to the new 'Modern' FA interface, lol.
Anyway! I ran a poll on Twitter, highlighting the fact that when I lose inspiration it often takes me some time to finish a comic, even when I often have other stories on my mind! But after the colossal delay with Jungle Jam, I've tried to keep a "one comic at a time" approach. So I asked, "Should I finish a comic before starting the next? Or work on two or more simultaneously?" The results were fairly evenly split, but the greater majority seems not to mind the idea of seeing more comics!
But don't worry! This should be a good thing, cause I'm not gonna let any comic fall off the radar like I did with Jungle Jam—I was dealing with a lot of stuff back then, after all! Not as much going on now, so I think I can let my inspiration guide me, without comics going too long without an update.
And even in addition to that, I've got a new tool on my belt, Postybirb! This is a handy tool that allows me to upload to multiple websites and schedule those uploads—the kind of thing I've been dreaming about for ages (and it's free! Hopefully this'll make uploads more consistent, and hide the days when I need to take a break from rendering, by still having things be uploaded in the intervening time. (I did have to add the app as an exception to my Avast anti-virus though, otherwise it was failing to upload).
That's about all I got for now! I've got ideas on my mind that are driving me in some directions, but mostly my inspiration right now is coming from a desire to see some Brokul. I've got other ideas in the other render universes, but we'll see how far I can stretch out my current inspiration!
Hope you all are doing well and staying as cool as possible these days...! This summer is going to be a challenge for a lot of folks, and maybe a sign of things to come, so stay safe, keep learning, and try to have some fun—you deserve it!
