Well, it's been quite a wonderful year as a furry! As many of you may know, I am a Mormon-tastic Mormon, and as such, I am planning on serving a full two year mission for my church. I will be going to San Fernando California, a Spanish speaking mission, and I will be teaching people about my church. This is something I've been wanting to do all my life and the time has finally come that I get to. So, This friday I leave for Provo Utah, and I report to the Missionary Training Center (MTC) On November 11th.
What a wonderful opportunity and blessing it has been to be able to meet so many wonderful and kind people. Becoming in a furry in the summer of 2008 has been one of the greatest things to happen to me in my entire life. All my life I have been somewhat of a black sheep, a social outcast. I was fine with it, I didn't mind sitting in the corner and doing my own thing. I had a couple of good friends here and there and I was pretty happy, but becoming a furry and meeting all of you wonderful people was a turning point in my life. For once I felt like I actually fit in with a group of people who cared for me and who I was. I want to begin by saying thank you to all of those who entered into my life and made me so happy. Being able to be around people who enjoyed my presence just as much as much as I enjoyed theirs made all the difference in my life.
As I leave for these two years there are a couple of things that I want all of you guys to know. First and foremost is that I am so glad that all of you guys have entered into my life. I hope that when the day comes when I return that I will be able to see all of you guys again once more, and be able to enjoy your guys' presence. Oh, how I look forward to the day when we shall be reunited and I be able to be with the people I love so dearly. Another thing I want you guys to know is that all of you guys are good people. I know some of you people may feel bad because of my super Mormon-tasticness may be pretty dang prevalent sometimes, but I'm hear to say that I am not here to judge. Having met you guys and been around you guys I know for a fact that you all are kind and caring people, and I hope that none of you will let anyone tell you otherwise. Lastly I want to say that you guys are like a family to me. Some of you are always reminding me of how much you love me, and some of you are always concerned about my safety and well being. Having this love and care for me makes my heart sing with joy. Even though I have known you guys for a short period of time, it feels as though I have known you guys all my life. As our paths part for this two year period, I want everyone to know that I love you all very much. You all mean the world to me, and I wish only the best for each and every one of you guys. Take care of yourselves, and remember who you are and what makes you happy in this life. For I know who I am, and the one thing that has made me happy in this life, is the companionship and love that you guys have given to me
Thanks for everything,
-Pyro The Husky (AKA Daniel Paul Clark) (AKA Elder Clark) (EDIT!! Especially AKA Elder PYRO! ^_^)

Think you might be able to hang with Dingo and I one last time before you go? :3

Stay safe, have fun. Maybe I'll chat with ya if I get the chance.
You can expect a lengthy email from me sometime soon...well into the first week without my "Danny exposure".
But, while I still can, I want to wish you the best of luck over these next two years, and I wish you the safest of travels. Even in my own experience with Mormons (independent from you!!!! D=<), I knew someone who left for a mission. He came back just a few months and had nothing but positive things to share.
I can't really think of much to say right now...cause I'm currently in the same room as you, listening to you guys laughing at a youtube video of "WHAT THE FU*BOOM*" But yeah...
It's hard to believe how far we've come in just a little over a year.
I will miss you a lot, Danny, I really will.
best wishes,
Danny
