Hey!
I recently noticed that the popularity of my commissions and YCHs has dropped.
It became interesting for me to ask you, what is the reason for this?
Is the price too high? Maybe you are not interested in YCH concepts? Оr something else?
This is important to me because freelancing is the only job available to me right now, and my hospital and apartment bills are expiring.
Therefore, I would be glad to hear your opinion! ^^

I hope your affairs improve.
As for the drop in popularity, I'd guess it may be the prices mixed with the world right now (whole virus situation, a recession coming up) people are less likely to splurge out on stuff unless they really need it or its like really REALLY cheap. I dunno though.
If it's not a secret, what price range is comfortable for you in this case?
If its just one character on their own with no background or anything and its a full body, the MOST I'd pay for it is like...$100? The $50-100 range is what I've seen from most artists and that fits well. For more than $100 are ones where it would have to have a background or multiple characters or be like a sketch page/comic, of which the most I've ever paid/been willing to pay is like $160? I haven't ever gotten a commission yet that is over $200 since that is quite a hefty chunk of change, and the only way I'd be spending that much on a single piece of art would be something really BIG or impactful...
May I ask what price range are you comfortable with?
(Don't answer if you don't want to)
Fullbody, one character, detailed, full shading, fairly simple background: around $200
Fullbody, one character, simple shading, no background: around $80
Fullbody, one character, uncolored sketch, no shading: $35 or less
As much as I want to support and purchase commissions from artists this increased cost of living over the past year has simply made it much harder to do so.
Hope things get better for all of us!
Hope to work with you again someday <з
Hope everything stabilizes soon.
That said i believe your art is absolutely worth that much.
I hope your business goes better and difficulties leave your life!
Thanks for sharing your experience and information!
